If you are traveling by car, start your journey on the N2 highway. Head towards Mthatha and take the R61 exit toward Mqanduli. Follow the R61 until you reach the R61/R58 intersection. Turn onto the R58 towards Ngqeleni and continue until you see signs for the Cederberg Wilderness Area. The Stadsaal Caves are located within this area. Look for the entrance signs to the caves as you approach. There may be a nominal entrance fee upon arrival.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Mthatha to Ngqeleni. From Ngqeleni, you will need to arrange for a taxi or local transport to take you to the Cederberg Wilderness Area.
