Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey on the N2 highway. From the N2, take the exit toward the R61 towards Bizana. Continue on R61 until you reach the intersection with the Main Bizana Road. Turn left onto Main Bizana Road and follow the signs to Wild Coast Sun. The Ocean Trail is located within the Wild Coast Sun area. Look for signs directing you to the horse riding field.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from major towns like Mthatha or Port Edward to Bizana. Once in Bizana, you may need to hire a taxi (approximately R50 to R100) to reach the Wild Coast Sun. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Wild Coast Sun, and they will take you directly to the entrance. From there, you can walk to the Ocean Trail.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you're already in a nearby town, consider using a taxi service or ride-sharing app like Bolt or Uber (if available). Simply input 'Wild Coast Sun' as your destination. The cost may vary depending on your starting location but expect to pay around R100 to R200 for a ride from towns like Port Edward or Mthatha.

• Guided Tours

  Some local tour companies offer guided tours that include transportation to the Ocean Trail. Check with your hotel or local tourist information centers for recommendations. This option may cost between R500 to R1000 depending on the length of the tour and included activities.
