    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Charleston. Head northeast on US-17 N towards Mount Pleasant. After about 6 miles, take the exit for SC-703 E towards Sullivan's Island. Continue on SC-703 E, which will take you directly onto Sullivan's Island. Once on the island, turn left onto Ion Ave. Follow Ion Ave until you reach the Sullivan's Island Lighthouse at 1815 Ion Ave. Parking is available nearby but may be limited during peak tourist hours.
