Walking
If you are starting from the Charleston City Market, exit the market onto Meeting Street. Walk south on Meeting Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street and continue for a block. Washington Square will be on your left at 80 Broad St. Look for the entrance marked by beautiful wrought iron gates.

From the historic Battery, head north on East Battery Street until you reach East Bay Street. Turn left onto East Bay Street and walk until you reach Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street and walk approximately 0.3 miles. Washington Square will be on your left at 80 Broad St.

If you're at Waterfront Park, exit the park and head towards East Bay Street. Turn left and walk north until you reach Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street and Washington Square will be on your left at 80 Broad St, just a short walk from the park.
