Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Old Towne Rd at Charles Towne Landing'. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in downtown Charleston. From the center of downtown, head west on Calhoun Street toward the Ashley River. Continue onto Lockwood Drive, which leads you out of the downtown area. Follow Lockwood Drive until it becomes Old Towne Rd. Continue on Old Towne Rd for about 1.5 miles until you reach Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site. There are bike racks available for parking at the site.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Battery, a scenic waterfront park in downtown Charleston. Head northwest on East Bay St, then take a left onto Calhoun St. Continue on Calhoun St until you reach Lockwood Dr. Follow Lockwood Dr for approximately 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Old Towne Rd. Walk along Old Towne Rd for another half mile until you reach the entrance of Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site. The total walking distance is around 3 miles, which will take about an hour.
