    From the Historic District, walk to the nearest bus stop at King St & Calhoun St. Board the CARTA bus number 20, which heads towards Folly Road. The fare is $1.50, and you can pay using cash or a preloaded CARTA card. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at Folly Rd & Secessionville Blvd. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Secessionville Historic District.

  • Bicycle

    If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in the Historic District. Head south on Meeting St, which will turn into Folly Rd. Follow Folly Rd for about 4 miles. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Once you reach Secessionville Blvd, turn left to arrive at the Secessionville Historic District.
