Bus
From the Historic District, walk to the nearest bus stop at King St & Calhoun St. Board the CARTA bus number 20, which heads towards Folly Road. The fare is $1.50, and you can pay using cash or a preloaded CARTA card. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at Folly Rd & Secessionville Blvd. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Secessionville Historic District.

Bicycle
If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in the Historic District. Head south on Meeting St, which will turn into Folly Rd. Follow Folly Rd for about 4 miles. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Once you reach Secessionville Blvd, turn left to arrive at the Secessionville Historic District.

Walking
For those who enjoy a longer walk, you can head south from the Historic District towards East Bay St. Continue straight until you reach the Battery, then head east along Murray Blvd. After passing the park, turn onto Folly Rd and keep walking for about 4 miles. This will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. When you reach Secessionville Blvd, turn left and continue walking to the Secessionville Historic District.
