From downtown Charleston, head to the Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park and catch the CARTA bus route 40 towards Mount Pleasant. The bus stop is located at 360 Fishburne St. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Long Point Rd / 1254 Long Point Rd stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Charleston. Head north towards East Bay St, then take a right onto Calhoun St. Continue straight until you reach the Ravenel Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Mount Pleasant. Once in Mount Pleasant, navigate to Long Point Rd and head north until you reach 1254 Long Point Rd. The historic site will be on your left.

For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route from downtown Charleston. Start at Waterfront Park and walk along East Bay St. Continue north until you reach the Ravenel Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the path into Mount Pleasant. Once you reach Long Point Rd, walk north for about 1 mile until you arrive at 1254 Long Point Rd, where Charles Pinckney National Historic Site is located.
