Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Charleston City Market, walk south on Meeting Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach George Street. Turn right onto George Street and continue for two blocks. The Robert S. Roulain House will be at 9 George St, on your left side.

• Walking

  From Waterfront Park, head north on East Bay Street for about 0.4 miles. Turn left onto Broad Street and continue for one block. Turn right onto Meeting Street, then take another left onto George Street. Walk for about two blocks, and you will find the Robert S. Roulain House at 9 George St, on your left.

• Biking

  If you are biking from the Battery, head north on East Battery Street and turn right onto Murray Boulevard. Continue until you reach East Bay Street and turn left. Follow East Bay Street north until you reach Broad Street, then turn right. After one block, turn left onto Meeting Street and then left again onto George Street. The Robert S. Roulain House will be on your left at 9 George St.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Take the CARTA bus route 10 from the Charleston Visitor Center. Get off at the stop at Meeting St. and Calhoun St. From there, walk south on Meeting Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach George Street. Turn right onto George Street, and the Robert S. Roulain House will be at 9 George St, a short distance ahead on your left.
