You can take the Bus Route 10 (Crosstown). Board the bus and stay on for about 20-25 minutes. Get off at the stop near 1500 Old Towne Rd. From there, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site.

If you are up for a longer walk from downtown Charleston (approximately 4 miles), head southwest on Meeting St toward Broad St. Turn left onto Broad St, then right onto Ashley Ave. Continue straight to merge onto the West Ashley Greenway. Follow the greenway until you reach Old Towne Rd, then turn left and walk until you reach Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site. This walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
