From anywhere within Congaree National Park, head towards the park entrance and follow the signs to SC-48. Take SC-48 North and merge onto I-77 South. Continue for approximately 6 miles, then take exit 5 for SC-12 toward Hopkins. At the exit, turn left onto SC-12. After about 2.5 miles, turn right onto Caroline Sims Rd.
