The trailhead is located approximately 2 miles from the visitor center. If you are driving, start from the visitor center at Congaree National Park. Exit the park by following the signs back to National Park Road. Turn left onto National Park Road, then follow it until it intersects with SC-48. Turn left onto SC-48, and then turn right onto Firefly Trail parking area. There is no entrance fee for Firefly Trail, but remember to check for any parking fees or requirements.
