From Folly Beach, start by heading northwest on Folly Rd toward the intersection with W Ashley Ave. Continue on Folly Rd for about 9 miles. Take a left onto Country Club Dr. McLeod Plantation Historic Site will be on your right at 325 Country Club Dr, Charleston, SC 29412. Parking is available on-site, and there are no additional parking fees.

While there is no direct public transportation from Folly Beach to McLeod Plantation, you can take the CARTA bus. Board the CARTA Route 31 at Folly Beach and ride to the nearest stop at the intersection of Folly Rd and Main Rd. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach McLeod Plantation.
