If you're driving from Folly Beach, start by heading northwest on Folly Road (SC-171) towards Charleston. Continue on Folly Road for about 9 miles until you reach the intersection with James Island Connector. Merge onto the James Island Connector and follow the signs for US-17 N. After about 2 miles, take the exit onto US-17 N towards Charleston. Continue for about 3 miles, then take the exit toward Calhoun St. After exiting, follow Calhoun St, which will lead you directly into Historic Downtown Charleston. Look for parking options in the area.
