Getting There

Car
If you're driving, head east on Folly Road (SC-171) towards Folly Beach. Continue until you reach the intersection with E Arctic Ave. Turn left onto E Arctic Ave, and follow it until you reach 101 E Arctic Ave. The Folly Beach Pier will be on your right. There is free parking available near the pier, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays.

Public Transportation
Take the CARTA bus route 30 from downtown Charleston towards Folly Beach. The bus will drop you at the Folly Beach Terminus. From there, walk east on Center St until you reach E Arctic Ave, then turn left. Continue along E Arctic Ave for about half a mile until you arrive at the Folly Beach Pier at 101 E Arctic Ave. Note that bus fare is $1.50 per person, and be sure to check the schedule for the last return bus.
