Dunes House is located at the beach access point near the intersection of East Ashley Avenue and the beach. Public Transportation

For those taking public transportation, the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) offers a bus service that connects Charleston to Folly Beach. You can catch the CARTA Route 20 bus from downtown Charleston, which will take you directly to Folly Beach. Once you arrive at the Folly Beach stop, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles (about 10-15 minutes) east on Folly Road, then turn left onto East Ashley Avenue.
