Getting There

  • Car

    From Folly Beach, head northwest on Folly Rd toward Charleston. Continue on Folly Rd for approximately 10 miles. As you approach the intersection with the James Island Connector, keep left to merge onto SC-30 W. After about 1 mile, take the exit toward SC-61 N. Continue on SC-61 N for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Country Club Dr. Turn right onto Country Club Dr, and the McLeod Plantation Historic Site will be on your right at 325 Country Club Dr, Charleston, SC 29412. Parking is available on site.

    From Folly Beach, take the CARTA (Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority) bus route 31 towards Downtown Charleston. The bus stop is located at the corner of Center St and Folly Rd.
