Walking
If you are starting from Fort Mill's downtown area, head north on Main Street toward Tom Hall Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 21. Cross the highway at the traffic light and continue walking north on Highway 21. After about 1.5 miles, you will find the entrance to Carowinds on your left. Afterburn is located inside the Carowinds amusement park.

From downtown Fort Mill, take Tom Hall Street heading north and then take a right onto Highway 21. Continue biking north for about 1.5 miles. You will see the Carowinds entrance on the left side. Park your bike at the designated bike parking area near the entrance. Afterburn can be found inside the park.

To reach Afterburn using public transit, start at the nearest bus stop in Fort Mill. Take the CATS bus route that services the area towards Charlotte. Make sure to check the schedule for the correct route and times. Get off at the stop closest to Carowinds Boulevard. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles to the entrance of Carowinds. Afterburn is located inside the amusement park.
