If you are in Hilton Head Island, start by renting a bicycle from one of the local shops like Hilton Head Bicycle Company. Once you have your bike, head towards the Cross Island Parkway and follow the signs to the bridge towards Savannah. After crossing the bridge, continue onto US-17 N. Once you reach the exit for I-16 E toward Savannah, take the exit and follow the signs for downtown Savannah. Once you are in the historic district, navigate to E Broughton St, and you'll find the Davenport House Museum on the left at 323 E Broughton St.

To reach the Davenport House Museum via public transit, start at the nearest bus stop in Hilton Head Island. Take the route to Savannah (check local schedules for availability). Upon arriving in Savannah, head towards the Visitor Center located at 301 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk. Head east on E Bay St, then turn left onto Abercorn St. Continue straight until you reach E Broughton St, then take a right. The Davenport House Museum will be on your left at 323 E Broughton St.
