Bicycle
Start at Coligny Beach Park, which is a popular area in Hilton Head. From there, head northwest on Pope Ave towards Wm. Hilton Pkwy. Continue straight until you reach Beach City Rd. Turn left onto Beach City Rd. Follow Beach City Rd for about 1 mile, and you will see Fort Howell on your right, at 160 Beach City Rd.

If you're starting from the Harbour Town area, walk towards the Sea Pines Circle. From there, take the bike path leading out of Sea Pines. Continue on the bike path until you reach Pope Ave. Cross over to Beach City Rd and walk straight for about 1.5 miles. Fort Howell will be on your left at 160 Beach City Rd.
