Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you are in the Coligny Plaza area, start by heading south on Ocean Drive towards South Forest Beach Drive. Turn left onto South Forest Beach Drive and continue until you reach the intersection with Pope Avenue. Turn right onto Pope Avenue and follow it until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit onto William Hilton Parkway (US-278). After about a mile, you will see signs for Shelter Cove. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Shelter Cove Community Park, located at 39 Shelter Cove Ln.

    From the Harbour Town area, walk northwest on Lighthouse Road towards the intersection with Sea Pines Drive. Turn left onto Sea Pines Drive and continue walking until you reach the entrance to the Sea Pines Resort. Once you exit the resort area, keep straight until you reach the traffic circle. Take the first exit onto William Hilton Parkway (US-278). Walk about a mile until you see signs for Shelter Cove. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Shelter Cove Community Park at 39 Shelter Cove Ln.

    Catch the Breeze Trolley from any of the designated stops on Hilton Head Island. Board the trolley heading towards the Shelter Cove area. Stay on the trolley until you reach the Shelter Cove Town Centre stop. From there, it's a short walk to Shelter Cove Community Park at 39 Shelter Cove Ln. Just follow the directional signs in the Town Centre, and you'll arrive at the park.
