Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards downtown Columbia. From the center of Midlands, take I-26 E towards Columbia. After about 10 miles, take exit 115 for I-126 E toward Columbia. Continue straight onto Gervais St. Follow Gervais St for approximately 1 mile, then turn right onto Richland St. The Mann-Simons Site will be on your left at 1403 Richland St. Parking is available on the street or in nearby lots, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transport, take the bus from the Midlands Transit Center. Board the bus that goes towards downtown Columbia (Route 1, 5, or 12 are common routes). The journey takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Disembark at the closest stop to Gervais St and Richland St, then walk about 5 minutes to reach the Mann-Simons Site, which is located at 1403 Richland St. Be aware that bus fares typically cost around $1.50 one way.
Bike
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service available in downtown Columbia. Start at the nearest bike station and head towards Gervais St. Follow Gervais St until you reach Richland St, then turn right. The Mann-Simons Site will be on your left at 1403 Richland St. This route is approximately 2 miles and should take about 15 minutes. Always wear a helmet and be mindful of traffic.
