    If you are in central Myrtle Beach, head to the nearest bus stop for the Coast RTA (Coastal Regional Transportation Authority). Take the Route 15 (also known as the Myrtle Beach Express) towards South Kings Highway. The bus will make stops along the main strip. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 4401 South Kings Highway, which is the entrance to Myrtle Beach State Park. The park will be directly in front of you as you disembark.

  • Bicycle

    From your location in Myrtle Beach, locate the nearest bike rental shop if you don't have your own bicycle. Once you have a bike, head south on Ocean Boulevard. After approximately 2 miles, turn right onto 17th Avenue South. Follow this road until it merges with South Kings Highway (US-17). Continue south on South Kings Highway for about a mile. Myrtle Beach State Park will be on your right at 4401 South Kings Highway.
