    Once you get off at 'Summerville Town Hall', head south on S. Main Street towards E. 2nd North Street. In about 0.2 miles, turn left onto E. 2nd North Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with State Park Road. Turn right onto State Park Road, and you will see the Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site in about 1 mile on your left.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in North Charleston. Start at the North Charleston Coliseum and head east towards the Ashley River.
