Bus
From the center of Rock Hill, head to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Main St and W White St. Take the CATS bus Route 47 towards the Charlotte Transportation Center. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Charlotte Transportation Center, transfer to the CATS Light Rail at the same station. Take the light rail towards I-485/South Blvd and get off at the 7th Street Station. From there, walk west on E 7th St for about 0.3 miles, then turn right onto W 6th St. Discovery Place Science will be on your left at 168 W 6th St.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Rock Hill. Start at the Rock Hill Main Street and head north on Main St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with E Springdale Rd. Take a left onto E Springdale Rd, then merge onto SC-161 N. Follow this road until you reach I-77 N. Use the bike lanes to safely navigate towards Charlotte. Once you reach Charlotte, follow the signs to the city center, and finally, make your way to 168 W 6th St. It’s about a 12-mile ride, so be prepared for a bit of exercise!

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Rock Hill. Head north on Main St towards the I-77 overpass. Continue walking straight for about 1 mile until you reach the Rock Hill Amtrak station. From the station, take the Amtrak train towards Charlotte. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Charlotte, walk east on E Trade St towards the 7th Street Market. Continue straight until you reach W 6th St, then turn left. Discovery Place Science will be on your left at 168 W 6th St.
