If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards SC-21 N (Augusta Rd) from anywhere in the Sea Islands. Follow SC-21 N for about 30 miles until you reach I-26 W. Merge onto I-26 W and continue for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 97 for SC-202 toward Prosperity. Turn left onto SC-202 W and continue for about 7 miles. Turn right onto State Park Rd, and you will find Dreher Island State Park at 3677 State Park Rd, Prosperity, SC 29127. Note that there is an entrance fee for the park which is approximately $5 per vehicle.
Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from the Sea Islands to Columbia, SC. Once in Columbia, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to reach Dreher Island State Park, as public transportation options to the park itself are limited.
