Car
If you are traveling by car from the Sandhills area, start by getting on SC-48 N/SC-34 E. Follow SC-48 N for approximately 15 miles until you reach I-77 S. Merge onto I-77 S and continue for about 25 miles. Take exit 18 for US-21 S toward Columbia. After exiting, merge onto US-21 S and continue for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Richland St, and you will find Historic Columbia at 1601 Richland St on your right. Parking is available nearby, but there may be a fee depending on the time of day.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the bus from Sandhills to Columbia. Start by catching the Route 30 Sandhills bus from the Sandhills Shopping Center. This route will connect you to the Columbia Transit system. Get off at the Main St and Gervais St stop in downtown Columbia. From there, transfer to the Route 3 bus towards the State House. Get off at the Richland St stop, and you will be just a short walk from Historic Columbia at 1601 Richland St. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may vary.
