Start at the Summerville Town Hall located at 200 S Main St. Walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the CARTA Route 40 bus heading towards Mt. Pleasant. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes. Get off at the Long Point Rd at Rifle Range Rd stop. From there, walk about 0.5 miles north on Long Point Rd until you reach the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site at 1254 Long Point Rd.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Summerville. Head south towards Main St and take a left onto Main St. Continue straight until you reach US-17. Take a right onto US-17 heading towards Mt. Pleasant. Follow this road for approximately 10 miles, then turn left onto Long Point Rd. Continue for about 1 mile until you arrive at the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site located at 1254 Long Point Rd.

If you’re up for a walk, from Summerville Town Square, head southeast on Central Ave toward S Main St. Turn right onto S Main St and continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with US-17. Cross US-17 carefully and continue onto Long Point Rd, which will lead you directly to the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site at 1254 Long Point Rd. The walk is approximately 6 miles and can take around 2 hours.
