Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Summerville, head to the nearest bus stop for the Dorchester County Public Transit (DCPT). You can catch the Route 1 bus heading to North Charleston. Ride the bus until you reach the North Charleston Transit Center. From the Transit Center, transfer to the CARTA Route 10 bus towards Charleston. Ride this bus until you reach the stop at Aquarium Wharf. The Schooner Pride is located at 360 Concord St, just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Summerville. Head south on Main St towards the Ashley River Road (SC-61). Continue on Ashley River Road until you reach the intersection with the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. Cross the bridge, following the bike path, which will take you directly into downtown Charleston. Once you reach the waterfront area, navigate to Concord St, and you will find Aquarium Wharf, where the Schooner Pride is located.

• Walking

  For an adventurous walk, start at the Summerville Town Hall. Head east on West 2nd North St toward South Main St. Continue south on Main St until you reach the Ashley River. From there, follow the riverbank trails toward Charleston. The walk is about 25 miles and will take approximately 8 hours, so ensure you have plenty of water and snacks. As you approach downtown Charleston, navigate to Concord St, where the Schooner Pride is located at 360 Concord St.
