If you're driving, start from the Table Rock State Park visitor center. Head south on State Park Road for about 1 mile, then turn right onto SC-11 N. Continue on SC-11 N for approximately 3 miles until you see the signs for Jones Gap State Park. Turn left onto Jones Gap Road, and follow it until you reach the parking area for Jones Gap State Park. Note that a parking fee may apply, and it's advisable to check the park's website for any reservation requirements.

Once you've parked at Jones Gap State Park, find the Jones Gap Trailhead, which is well-marked. You will hike on the Jones Gap Trail for about 2.5 miles. The trail will lead you along the river, and you will encounter various scenic spots along the way. The hike to Rainbow Falls is moderately strenuous, so be prepared for some elevation changes. Follow the trail signs that direct you towards Rainbow Falls.
