Getting There

• Car

  If you are in Table Rock State Park, begin by exiting the park entrance onto Table Rock State Park Rd. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with SC-11. Turn left onto SC-11 and continue for about 2 miles. Look for signs indicating the turnoff for Tablerock Viewpoint, which will be on your right at approximately 182-346 Table Rock State Park Rd. Follow the signs to the viewpoint parking area.

• Public Transportation

  For visitors relying on public transportation, there is no direct public transit service to Tablerock Viewpoint. However, you can take a bus to the nearest city, Pickens, SC. From the bus station in Pickens, you would need to arrange a ride-share service or taxi to get to Table Rock State Park. Once you arrive at the park, follow the car guidance above to reach Tablerock Viewpoint.

• Walking

  If you are already at a campsite or lodge within Table Rock State Park, you can hike to Tablerock Viewpoint. From the park's main lodge, head south on the trails marked for scenic views. Follow the well-marked trail signs for about 1.5 miles until you reach the viewpoint. Ensure you wear appropriate hiking gear and carry water, as the trail can be steep in certain sections.
