From Big Sioux Recreation Area, head south on SD-34. After approximately 15 miles, merge onto US-16 W towards Rapid City. Continue on US-16 W for about 35 miles. Take exit 57 for SD-244 W towards Crazy Horse Memorial. Follow SD-244 W for 10 miles until you reach Crazy Horse Memorial. The memorial will be on your left, watch for signs.

Unfortunately, there are no direct public transport options from Big Sioux Recreation Area to Crazy Horse Memorial. However, you can take a Greyhound bus from Sioux Falls to Rapid City. From Rapid City, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Crazy Horse Memorial, which is approximately 30 minutes away (25 miles). Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
