Car
If you are traveling by car from Rapid City, take I-90 W from S 5th St and SD-44 W. Continue on I-90 W for about 35 miles. Take exit 61 for US-385 S toward Hot Springs. Follow US-385 S for approximately 15 miles. Then turn left onto SD-34 E. After about 4 miles, turn right onto Fairburn Rd (County Road 1). Continue for about 3 miles, and the Bison Center will be on your left at 43.6507° N, 103.3732° W. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app handy to assist with navigation.

For those using public transportation, first take a bus from Rapid City to Hot Springs via the local bus service. Once in Hot Springs, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to the Bison Center, which is about 10 miles away.
