From the Jewel Cave National Monument Visitor Center, head south on Highway 385 (S. Dakota Highway 385) for about 10 miles. After approximately 10 miles, take a left onto Wind Cave Road (also known as SD Highway 87). Continue on Wind Cave Road for about 4 miles until you reach the entrance to Wind Cave National Park. As you enter the park, follow the signs for the Wind Cave Canyon area, which will lead you to the parking area. Be aware that there may be a park entrance fee of $20 per vehicle, valid for 7 days.
