Getting There

From the center of Custer, head east on Main Street towards 5th Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-16. At this intersection, turn left onto US-16. Keep walking along the shoulder of the highway for approximately 6 miles. You will pass by scenic views and might see some wildlife. Bear Country USA will be on your right, just before you reach Rapid City. Look for the entrance sign and follow the path to the parking lot.

Starting from the Custer County Courthouse, head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-16. Turn left onto US-16.
