Walking
From the center of Custer, head west on Main Street (SD-34). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with SD-89. Turn left onto SD-89 and walk for another 1.5 miles. You will see the Crazy Horse Memorial entrance on your right. Follow the signs to the visitor center.
Bicycling
Starting from the Custer County Courthouse, take 8th Street west until you hit SD-34. Turn left on SD-34 and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles. Then turn left onto SD-89 and continue for another 1.5 miles. The Crazy Horse Memorial will be on your right. You can park your bike at the designated area near the visitor center.
