From downtown Custer, head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with SD-87. At this point, you will need to cross the street safely to reach the walking path along SD-87. Follow SD-87 north for about 1.5 miles. You will see a sign for Little Devil's Tower on your right. Continue walking until you reach the trailhead, which is located at 518 SD-87.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the center of Custer and ride east on Main Street. When you reach the intersection with 6th Street, take a left and continue until you hit SD-87. Bike north on SD-87 for approximately 1.5 miles. Keep an eye out for the Little Devil's Tower sign on your right. The trailhead will be located at 518 SD-87. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all biking safety rules.
