Getting There

Start your journey at the Custer State Park Visitor Center located at 342 Cave Rd, Custer, SD 57730. From here, head northwest on SD-87 N for about 1.2 miles. You will reach the entrance to Custer State Park. Once you enter, continue straight for about 4.5 miles, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Look for the signs pointing towards Mount Coolidge Lookout. Follow the signs and take a left onto Mount Coolidge Road (a gravel road).
