From any point within the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area, head southeast on State Park Drive. Continue on this road for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with SD-34. Turn left onto SD-34 E. After approximately 2 miles, you will see signs for Lake Herman State Park. Turn right onto Lake Herman State Park Drive. Follow the signs to the park entrance.
