Begin your journey in Missouri River, SD. Head south on SD-34 E towards US-81 S. Merge onto US-81 S and continue for approximately 30 miles. Once you reach the junction with I-90 W, take I-90 W for about 20 miles. Then, take exit 4 for US-159 S toward Forest City. Follow US-159 S for approximately 15 miles until you reach the Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge located at 25542 US-159, Forest City, MO 64451. There is no entrance fee to access the refuge.
