    If you are staying in Keystone, you can take the local shuttle service that runs between various points in the area and Mount Rushmore. Board the shuttle in Keystone and request a stop at Mount Rushmore National Memorial. From the drop-off point, follow the walking directions to the visitor center and then to the Grand View Terrace as described above. Ensure to check the shuttle schedule for return times.

    If you have access to a bike, you can cycle from Keystone to Mount Rushmore. Start on SD-244, which is the main road leading to Mount Rushmore. The distance is about 3 miles, and it takes approximately 15-20 minutes to bike there. Upon arriving, park your bike at the designated bike racks near the visitor center. Then walk towards the Grand View Terrace and follow the path to the Profile View.
