    Start at the Rapid City Transit Center located at 333 6th St. From here, take the Rapid City public bus Route 6. This bus route will take you toward the area near Black Hills Caverns. You will need to remain on the bus for about 15 minutes, and listen for stops that announce 'Cavern Road'. Once you reach the stop for 'Cavern Road', disembark the bus. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles north along Cavern Rd, and you will see the entrance to Black Hills Caverns on your right at 2600 Cavern Rd.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Rapid City. Start from Main Street and head west toward 5th St. Continue onto 5th St until you reach the intersection with Omaha St. Turn left onto Omaha St and continue straight for about 1.5 miles. At the intersection with Highway 16, take a right turn and proceed on Highway 16 for about 1 mile. Look for Cavern Rd on your left, and follow Cavern Rd for another 0.5 miles to reach Black Hills Caverns at 2600 Cavern Rd.
