    From downtown Rapid City, head to the nearest bus stop at 6th St & Main St. Board the Rapid City Public Transit bus route to Keystone. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Be sure to inform the driver that you're going to Keystone. Once you arrive in Keystone, disembark at the Keystone Main St stop. From there, it's a short 0.5-mile walk to Mount Rushmore Profile View. Head east on Main St, then turn left onto SD-244. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Mount Rushmore.

    Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in downtown Rapid City. After securing your bike, head south on 5th St until you reach Omaha St. Turn left and follow Omaha St until it becomes SD-44. Continue straight for about 12 miles, keeping an eye on traffic.
