Driving
If you are driving, the Ben Reifel Visitor Center is located at 25216 SD-240, Interior, SD 57750. From Rapid City, take I-90 East for approximately 40 miles. Take exit 110 for SD-34 E toward Badlands National Park. Continue on SD-34 E for about 25 miles until you reach the junction with SD-240. Turn left onto SD-240, and follow the signs for the Visitor Center. The drive should take around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Public transportation options are limited in South Dakota, especially to the Badlands region. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to Wall, SD, which is the closest stop to the Badlands. From Wall, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service, as public transit does not go directly to the Visitor Center. The distance from Wall to the Visitor Center is approximately 26 miles.
