This is the access road to Lookout Mountain. Drive up this road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area near the trailhead. There are no fees for parking, and the area is open year-round.

Due to the limited public transportation options in Spearfish Canyon, your best bet is to take a local bus or shuttle service from Spearfish to the nearest drop-off point along SD-14A. Once you reach a stop near Spearfish Canyon, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles along the road until you find the Unnamed Road leading to Lookout Mountain.
