Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the main cities in Gangwon Province, head towards Pyeongchang-gun. Use the expressways for faster travel. From Seoul, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1) and then merge onto the Dongbu Expressway (Expressway 50) towards Gangwon-do. Follow the signs for Pyeongchang and exit at Jinbu. Once in Jinbu-myeon, follow local signs to Odaesan National Park, located at 2 Odaesan-ro. There is a parking lot available at the park entrance. Note that parking fees may apply.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Odaesan National Park via public transport, start by taking an intercity bus to Pyeongchang from Seoul or other major cities. Buses depart from the Dongseoul Bus Terminal and take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Pyeongchang Bus Terminal, take a local bus or taxi to Jinbu-myeon. The local bus will drop you off near the park entrance at 2 Odaesan-ro. Be sure to check the bus schedules beforehand to plan your visit effectively.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Pyeongchang Bus Terminal or Jinbu-myeon to Odaesan National Park. This option can be more expensive, typically ranging around 30,000 to 50,000 KRW depending on the distance and traffic conditions. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
