If you are driving from the Pyeongchang Ski Resorts, head east on Odaesan-ro. You will pass by various ski resorts along the way. Continue on Odaesan-ro for approximately 15 minutes (about 10 km). Look for signs directing you to Sangwonsa, which will be on your left. There is a parking area available near the temple.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Sangwonsa via public transportation, first, take a bus from the Pyeongchang Bus Terminal. Look for buses heading to Jinbu or Odaesan National Park. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Sangwonsa stop. From the bus stop, Sangwonsa is a short 5-minute walk. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
