Once you reach Samcheok, follow local signage to Geundeok-myeon, and then to Yonghwa-ri. Parking is available near the beach, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

To reach Yonghwa Beach using public transportation, first take a bus or train to Samcheok. If you are coming from a nearby city like Gangneung, you can catch an intercity bus to Samcheok, which typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours and costs approximately 10,000 to 15,000 KRW. Once in Samcheok, transfer to a local bus heading towards Geundeok-myeon. Look for buses that display Yonghwa-ri as a stop. The local bus ride will take about 30 minutes and may cost around 2,000 KRW. After disembarking, follow the signs to Yonghwa Beach, which is a short walk away.
