Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the city of Daegu. Take Route 5 heading northeast. You will pass through the towns of Yeongcheon and Jisan. Continue on Route 5 for about 80 km until you reach the town of Taebaek. Once in Taebaek, follow the signs to Sodo-dong and use GPS coordinates 37.0986, 128.9185 to reach Mang-Gyeongdae. There is free parking available near the site.

  • Public Transportation

    From Daegu, take the KTX (Korea Train Express) or Mugunghwa train to Taebaek Station. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival at Taebaek Station, exit the station and take local bus number 2 or a taxi to Sodo-dong. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mang-Gyeongdae. The bus fare is around 1,200 KRW, while a taxi ride will cost approximately 10,000 KRW.
