If you are driving from the central area of Yeongdong, take the Donghae Expressway (Route 65) heading towards Donghae. Continue on the expressway for approximately 25 kilometers. Take the exit for Donghae city and follow the signs towards Donghae. Once in the city, navigate to Chotdaebawi-gil, which is about 5 kilometers from the city center. Look for the signs for Chuam Chotdaebawi Rock, and you will find parking available nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Chuam Chotdaebawi Rock via public transportation, begin by taking a bus from Yeongdong Bus Terminal to Donghae. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes and costs around 3,000 KRW. Once you arrive at Donghae Bus Terminal, transfer to local bus number 2 or 7, which will take you directly to Chotdaebawi-gil. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. After you get off the bus, follow the signs to Chuam Chotdaebawi Rock, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
