If you are driving to Yonghwa Beach from within Gangwon Province, the easiest route is to use the Donghae Expressway (Expressway No. 50). From the expressway, take the exit towards Samcheok (Exit 7) and follow the signs for Samcheok city. Continue on National Route 7 towards Geundeok-myeon. Once you reach Geundeok-myeon, follow the signs for Yonghwa-ri. Yonghwa Beach is located at 14-5 Yonghwa-ri, Geundeok-myeon, Samcheok-si. There is free parking available near the beach.

To reach Yonghwa Beach via public transportation, take an intercity bus to Samcheok from major cities such as Sokcho or Gangneung. Upon arriving at the Samcheok Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Geundeok-myeon. You can ask the bus driver or locals for the bus that stops closest to Yonghwa Beach. The beach is approximately a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop in Yonghwa-ri.

For a direct route to Yonghwa Beach, you can take a taxi from the Samcheok Bus Terminal or any nearby location. Simply tell the driver 'Yonghwa Beach' or provide the address (14-5 Yonghwa-ri, Geundeok-myeon, Samcheok-si). The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes from the terminal.
